Rooms, apartments and villas near Jan Thiel Beach
Want to walk to Jan Thiel Beach and choose between a hotel room and your own holiday home? Livingstone offers both, with apartments and villas alongside its rooms. Now known as Sonesta Hotels & Resorts Livingstone Curaçao, it makes a practical base for beach days and exploring the island.
A hotel room suits travellers who expect to eat out regularly. Prefer preparing your own meals? The One Bedroom Apartment has a kitchen with a stove, fridge and dishwasher. For more separate bedrooms, compare the two- and three-bedroom villas.
There is a large shared pool and a children's pool. Jan Thiel Beach is a short walk away; the walking distance depends on your accommodation's position within the resort.
Mondi Jan Thiel serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, combining Italian dishes with Caribbean influences. Check your meal plan when booking: a restaurant on site does not mean meals are included.
We recommend a rental car for days exploring other beaches or Willemstad. Request the parking pass from reception and use the designated parking for your accommodation.
How far is the drive from your stay?
In April 2026, Sonesta announced the resort's addition to its portfolio. The familiar Livingstone name remains part of its current branding.
We would consider Livingstone if you want Jan Thiel nearby and flexibility in how you stay. Our tip: compare the room and apartment prices for your dates. A kitchen can be worth the difference if you enjoy breakfast at your own pace.
