Afternoon drinks or a later start?

Happy hours do not all follow the same schedule. Madero Ocean Club lists Tuesday to Sunday from 17:00 to 19:00, while Wet & Wild starts its Friday happy hour at 20:00 and ends at 21:00. Check the offer’s start and end times separately from the venue’s opening hours.

Choose the atmosphere as well as the offer

A happy hour can be part of a bigger evening. Zanzibar at Jan Thiel Beach combines its Saturday gathering with a DJ and live band. Prefer a conversation over a drink? Look at the programme for your chosen day rather than judging a venue only by its daytime beach photos. Music may continue after the drinks offer ends.

Make it part of your day

Choose somewhere near your beach visit or dinner plans to avoid spending the evening travelling between venues. Arrange your return journey before ordering alcohol, and agree on the fare and pickup point when booking a taxi. Offers and programmes can change for holidays and special events.

Are all drinks included in a happy hour offer?

Do not assume so. Check which drinks, sizes and brands qualify, and whether the offer means a reduced price or a second drink. Ask separately about cocktails and alcohol-free options.

Is entry free during happy hour?

Check the venue and your arrival time. Jan Thiel Beach currently lists free entry from 16:30. Elsewhere, beach entry or event tickets may be charged separately from drinks.

Do I need a reservation for happy hour?

Check the policy for your chosen day, especially with a group. Bar visits, dinner tables and special events can have different arrangements. A restaurant reservation does not automatically include a beach bed or event admission.

Can I pay cash at every beach club?

No. Wet & Wild is cashless and accepts debit and credit cards. Check the payment options at your chosen venue before leaving.
