What you'll do
Get up close to one of the ocean's most intelligent animals during the Dolphin Encounter at Curaçao Sea Aquarium. Standing together on a submerged platform, you'll meet a dolphin in a relaxed and safe environment while experienced trainers introduce you to its unique personality, behaviour and natural abilities.
During the experience you'll discover how dolphins communicate, how they are cared for and what makes every dolphin different. You'll enjoy playful interactions and have the chance to touch the dolphin while learning fascinating facts about marine life and conservation.
The Dolphin Encounter is specially designed for families, first time visitors and anyone who wants to experience the magic of dolphins without needing to swim in deep water. It's an unforgettable experience that combines education, fun and memories you'll take home long after your vacation.

- No swimming experience is required, the encounter takes place on a shallow submerged platform
- Total experience lasts approximately 1.5 hours
- Around 20 minutes are spent with the dolphin
- Maximum of 6 participants per dolphin
- Children under 1 year join free
- Guests under 1.30 m must be accompanied by a paying adult
- Pregnant guests are welcome to participate
- Bring swimwear, a towel and sunscreen
